A lifelong resident of Washington State and proud Tacoma native, Douglas Vieselmeyer is deeply connected to his community. With a background steeped in athletics, Doug pursued his passion for basketball at Wayne State College in Nebraska, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing in 1985.

Doug began his professional journey as a Surety Underwriter at Reliance United Pacific Insurance. However, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to pivot toward the construction industry, trading his suit and tie for work boots and a tool belt. In 1987, Doug co-founded Tile Technology Roofing Co., Inc. alongside his business partner, Glen.

Their success in roofing evolved into ventures in land development, home construction, and wholesale building supplies under Dimension Northwest and Northern Pacific Supply. Together, they built an enterprise that provided jobs for over 250 families, generated significant financial growth, and championed community, church, and philanthropic initiatives.

By 2010, having achieved substantial milestones in construction, Doug sought a new path. In 2012, he obtained licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance, embarking on a mission to transform employee benefits for businesses. Doug recognized that while employee benefits are often among the top three expenses for employers, many employees undervalue them due to a lack of understanding.

This realization ignited Doug’s passion for bridging the gap between employers and employees. His goal was to enhance employee education, reduce turnover, and help protect the livelihoods that individuals work so hard to build.

Since 2014, Doug and his dedicated team have helped over 400 business owners optimize employee benefit plans, reducing costs while expanding coverage. By educating thousands of employees, they’ve fostered stronger partnerships between business owners and their workforce, ensuring sustainable and affordable healthcare solutions.
